Major Content Expansions Ahoy
Hats off to you noble adventurers and Dungeon Masters. With more than ten days to go you exceeded our wildest expectations and unlocked our highest stretch goal: A recreational district for the city of Nexus; the Velvet Alleys. Whats more, this section of the book will be authored by a titan in the RPG industry, the WebDM Team!
Their pen is mighty indeed.
With our second guest contributor, the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex is shaping up to be the finest book 2CGaming has ever produced. None of our previous projects have ever achieved this level of success and we are going to make sure that the quality of the book reflects that level of support. However, we had a few ideas in the back of our mind to push Epic Legacy even further. Presenting.....
Hidden Stretch Goals Yet To Come
Just in case we got this far a few hidden stretch goals were produced. These were items that we thought were very cool, but not essential to the core of the Campaign Codex. With additional funding we can comfortably fit these options into the book to further flesh out your Epic Legacy experience. Our first hidden stretch goal is.....
Of the Epic variety, of course.
We've always wanted to overhaul the 5E system for diseases and poisons, which felt very underwhelming and interacted poorly with standard 5th Edition mechanics. This stretch goal will not only make diseases and poisons interesting aspects of your game, but also serious threats to Epic characters.
But guess what. We ALREADY HIT THIS HIDDEN GOAL! Once again y'all prove yourselves beyond our wildest expectations. So I guess this is in order....
Seriously guys, give us time to celebrate before you give us more reasons to party xD.
Next up is a big one. A secret district orbiting Nexus, invisible to its citizens. The divinely significant and staggeringly powerful House Of The Eternal, for when the gods come to the City Of Legends.
The home of the gods.
This stretch goal tackles divinity in Epic Legacy head on, expanding the Deific range of content and interactions to better define divine power in your game and make better use of the most powerful beings in 5th Edition: the gods themselves. This is a entire district dedicated to this subject and will not disappoint.

Big Wins On All Fronts!
Greeting citizens of Nexus! The good news just keeps on coming. With our halfway mark complete we can count three successfully unlocked stretch goals, with more just around the corner. We are proud to welcome Grant Ellis back to another 2CGaming project to design The Hive of Nexus. If you are familiar with his work in the Total Party Kill Bestiary or The Total Party Kill Handbook 2, or many of his awesome outside projects, you will know just how fantastic it will be to have a creator of his caliber on board.
We asked Grant to design monsters for us. This is what he gave us. Now picture this twisted creativity taken to Epic levels, and you'll have some idea of what the Hive has in store for Nexus.
We get some cool writing stretch goals I've wanted to do for a while now. Potion crafters rejoice, as Nexus will empower you to concoct "wholesome" Epic brews that will rock your campaign's world.
Double double, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble.
Changes to the $200 Reward Tier: Resident Of Nexus
With no backers at our $200 reward tier, we are making some changes to make it more attractive to backers. While the project is just fine without that tier (seriously we could probably just delete it), we want supporters to make a personal footprint in Nexus, so we are making the following change:
Number Of Deluxe Books Increases To Include BOTH Epic Legacy Books In Deluxe Form.
This is in addition to all rewards it currently has, meaning you can snag a personalized art piece AND a written reference for just $60 when compared to the Dual Deluxe tier. Looking forward to seeing more residents of Nexus soon.
Beyond that, with the addition of The Hive, we're able to open up another slot in the "Citizen of Nexus" reward tier, which brings your design to Nexus in the form of both a writing reference and full-color illustration by our art team!
Hidden Stretch Goals Appearing Soon!
We have a few secret stretch goals we haven't shown off yet that we will be releasing soon. They are some of our most ambitious elements we could add to Nexus, but as things are looking now odds are good at least a few will make it into the final book. Speculation is rife with what they may be, but rest assured they will be AWESOME.

Stretch Goals Unlocked! Funding At The Halfway Point

Back From Gen Con and New Stretch Goals
We hath braved the mighty gauntlet that is Gen Con and emerged victorious! While we had a great time, its great to be back to the grindstone on the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex. To our great and pleasant surprise we unlocked our first stretch goal a few days later!
One down, more to go!
We are thrilled to get this stretch goal unlocked, as MANY of you have been asking us (seriously so many questions) about more Epic race options. With this goal we will scour the official 5E rules for all SRD legal races and feature them in Nexus. If you want a preview of what this content looks like, check out our currently available race options here.
What's Next?
A major writing stretch goal is just around the corner. A new district for Nexus - The Hive! This district will be penned by Grant Ellis of RPG internet fame and will feature the most vile scum and villainy Nexus has to offer. If you are looking for Epic evil in your game get hyped for the Hive!

Funding Check In
Holy tolito we are over $25,000 and still have halfway to go! Our projections put us unlocking all of this project's stretch goals, including those we but dared to dream at $39k and $40k, which we'll discuss if and when we get closer! This is a staggering amount of support for our little company and we are so thankful for your support. Its hard to state how much of a win even getting this far is. We look forward to posting many more exciting updates about unlocked and in development content (we've already got people hard at work and will post the book's outline soon). Also keep your ears to the ground for 2CGaming run playtests and community events, which are always a highlight of our development process.

And Just Like That...
The Epic Legacy Campaign Codex will be coming February of 2020! Thank you so much for the tremendous support for this project in its early phases. We are incredibly excited to bring this expansion to the Epic Legacy system to life!
The founding of Nexus has begun!
What's Next?
Stretch Goals! Time to expand this expansion even further! We're expecting the base Epic Legacy Campaign Codex to come in around 185 pages (140k words), but each of the stretch goals expands that, elevating the book from "Epic Manual" to "Weighty Epic Manual"
The Epic Races Stretch Goal should add art and 4-6 pages of content to the book, expanding the Epic race progression for all 5th Edition races in published works that are available in the 5E SRD!
The Potion Crafting Stretch Goal introduces a new mechanical system expanding the Adventurer's Arsenal system for balanced magic item creation. We're expecting this to clock in around 3-5 pages.
The Hive & Velvet Alleys Stretch Goals add significant content to the book, introducing entirely new districts within Nexus (replete with NPCs, new mechanics, and much more). Each of these will add 10-15 pages of additional content.
We've a couple ideas for additional expansions beyond that, but even with the items listed above, these additions to the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex will bring the book to at *least* 210+ pages of thrilling content!

Massive Funding Success!
Welcome future citizens, founders, and adventurers of Nexus!
By Pelor's Pants what a start to the campaign. This project has smashed our expectations within the first 48 hours and racked up over 10k in funding. Suffice it to say, we are pretty confident this project will fund. Thank you all so much for supporting this project in its early stages. This kind of momentum makes a big impact with Kickstarter and greatly increase the chance of getting them awesome stretch goals.
A testament to the power of Epic 5E
As soon as the project reaches the funding goal we will immediately start working and sharing in-development content with our community. We will be posting the fruits of our labors with frequent KS updates here, but if you'd like to be a part of the process we encourage you to join us over at the 2CGaming Discord server and share your thoughts about what you would like to see in Nexus.
Lastly, we want to raise our proverbial glasses to all of you who have supported, shared, and experienced this project. Your enthusiasm has somehow made us even more excited to publish this book and we can't wait to get to work.
