A Mighty Victory!
And with that we conclude the greatest crowdfunding campaign we've ever had. You fans, supporters, friends, and family have astonished us with your level of support. We are committed to translating this success into the best book we can possibly write and will be moving swiftly in the days ahead to make this a reality.
What Happens Now?
Lots of exciting things, listed below in order of priority on our end!
Backerkit Setup: 2CGaming manages pledges and fulfills rewards through Backerkit and we will be setting this up as swiftly as possible. This system will allow you to make adjustments to your pledge and pick up other 2CGaming published works at discounted prices.
For all your D&D needs
High Tier Reward Development: Did you back at a $200 reward tier or higher? You will be receiving a KS message asking for some preliminary information about your piece along with times to meet and discuss your item. This will ensure you get as much development time to write/review your piece as possible, so keep an eye out for that message!
Playtesting: Ryan has been hard at work putting together a playtest packet for the community. This will be made available to EVERYONE, not just backers, as we want as many eyes on the content as possible. Playtesting was a HUGE part of the Epic Legacy Core Rulebook's development, so we want to repeat that success here. This packet will contain all Player options, including Epic races, Elementalist and Artificer options, Epic subclass expansions, and more. Additionally, Ryan will be running open community events where backers can play against his most devious and experimental designs, providing direct feedback all the while. Supporters from the last project will know these events are a lot of fun. Check out the community discord to get in on these games!
General Updates: We are going to be providing consistent updates (our goal is 1 to 2 a month) where we let you know how the project is going. These updates will include art, production details, and other things we'd like you to know. We don't want to spam you with lots of little stuff, so we may do less (or sometimes more) frequent updates depending on how things are going. You can always check in with us for details in the 2CGaming Discord.

48 Hours Remaining, Final Funding Push, And Last Stretch Goal Unlocked!

Twilight Is Upon Us
We will keep this one short and sweet. There are only 48 hours remaining in the campaign and things are looking great! These last few days are always very exciting as folks look to get in on the project last minute. If you are looking for ways to help bring this project to a grand finale, we recommend sharing it with gaming groups, social media, and other areas of influence to give everyone a chance to get in before its too late! Every little bit of funding we receive empowers 2CGaming to further both this project and future Epic Legacy ventures.
The Epic Legacy Campaign Codex Fully Realized
You'd think we'd have learned to expect the unexpected by now, but nope. Your adventurous spirit and overwhelming support has unlocked our final and greatest stretch goal, an alternative cover piece for the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex.
This masterwork piece will be crafted by Daniel Kamarudin, who has done every Epic Legacy cover and whose work has always delivered on the appropriate level of epic-ness for our projects. The work will feature two Epic characters: Kaya Thul and Heletek Pyeha (2CGaming's iconic artificer and elementalist) forming their friendship across the boundaries of interplanar space, shortly before founding the city of Nexus. Please note: This cover option is only available to deluxe copies of the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex, but will also appear in all books as a gorgeous two page spread. Check out the concept art for these characters to get a sense of what they may look like!

Official Artificer Announced Just In Time
Wizards Of the Coast has announced their newest book: Rising From The Last War. This is a big deal for this project (though not unexpected), because that means the Epic Artificer will be perfectly aligned with the design of the official 5E Artificer appears in the new book. Because the current Unearth Aracana artificer will likely be similar to this final version, we will still be using it for most of our testing and design, making any last minute adjustments once we get our hands on Rising From The Last War.
Get Involved In Development
Things will be moving fast once this project ends and while we will post many updates here to let you know where things are, a BIG part of this project's development will be open to the community for testing, discussion, and feedback. This will all occur in our community Discord server and if you have an opinion, idea, or critique you want us to hear that is the place to do it. More than a few brilliant ideas in the Epic Legacy system were birthed from thoughtful discussions between us and fans. We want to get to know you and hear your voice, so drop on in!

Epic Villainy Unlocked, Final Stretch Goal In Sight

Its Good To Be Bad
With the $45,000 stretch goal unlocked, the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex will be supporting villainous options for Epic characters, specifically uniquely sinister subclasses for the Elementalist and Artificer and their Epic counterparts. These new options will be making their appearance in the Hive of Nexus, which seems pretty fitting in our opinion. If you are curious as to what a villainous subclass is, our book Tyrants and Hellions had a selection for each 5E core class, which have continued support in the Epic Legacy Core Rulebook. So for those of you looking to play Epic evil, rejoice!

Final Stretch Goal: Alternative Cover
Behold, our last and final stretch goal: The alternative (And Kickstarter exclusive) cover for the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex.
A worthy capstone to an awesome project.
This is something really special. Should we reach this goal, those who are picking up Deluxe copies of the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex will have the option of choosing a gorgeous alternative option for the book's cover. In all publications of the Codex, the piece will also appear within the book as a two-page spread in the "Classes" section (most likely). This piece will be crafted by Daniel Kamarudin, who has done all previous Epic Legacy covers and will feature the two founders of Nexus: Kaya Thul and Heletek Pyeha (2CGaming's Iconic Artificer and Elementalist). To help you get an idea for what this might look like, check out the alternative cover that was feature on the Epic Legacy Core Rulebook.

We've Cracked It!
Amazing work everyone, and thank you so so much for all your support. We've unlocked the Epic Character Sheets stretch goal, which we're confident will help all the players out there building and playing Epic Legacy characters.
We're going to be including three character sheet formats with this unlock, and it's going to take a lot of back and forth with the community for development, so those of you in discord - get ready for some discussion!
(1) Form-Fillable, Full-Color PDF. Intended for digital use, but good for hi-res printing as well.
(2) Black & White version of (1) - for easy printing, or for those who like the simplified colors.
(3) "Supplemental" Character Sheet. Will only contain Epic elements in one or two sheets. Intended for use with existing 5E characters, where you don't want to copy over all your character's information into a new sheet and format.

Home of the Gods
Welp, you've stumped us. Our hidden stretch goals are unlocked, bringing Nexus' last and most prestigious district: The House Of The Eternal. When gods come to Nexus, they reside within this hidden district, which will be the centerpiece for Deific level content in the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex. For those of you familiar with Deific content from the Epic Legacy Core Rulebook, you'll know just how exciting this is.
Our vision for Nexus fully realized.
But wait! While the city of Nexus can't get much larger, there are still ways we can further develop the book and improve the Epic Legacy experience. With over a week to go in the project, we feel its appropriate to share this last selection of stretch goals. Should we unlock them, all funding we receive past that point will go into developing both the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex and the entire Epic Legacy system moving forward. Check out these awesome new stretch goals below!
$42,500 - Epic Legacy Character Sheet. A 5E character sheet specifically tailored to support Epic characters.
$45,000 - Epic Villainy. Additional villainous subclass options for artificer and elementalist, along with their Epic counterparts (to appear in the hive).
$50,000 - "Founders of Nexus" Alternate Cover. An alternative cover available for deluxe versions featuring the Nexus founders. This stunning illustration will be included as a two-page spread within all copies of the Epic Legacy Campaign Codex.
